How it works

Five minutes a day. One idea at a time.

No streak-shaming and no filler. Short illustrated lessons, a plain-English reason, and the study.

1

Check in

A short questionnaire gives you a starting point across confidence, connection, conversation and boundaries.

2

Learn one idea

Story cards teach a single skill, from listening to assertiveness to calming nerves before a room.

3

See the study

Any card that states a finding shows the author, year and journal. Tap to read the source.

4

Make it a habit

A daily reminder, a streak and a home-screen widget keep five minutes easy to repeat.

Painted scene of guests at a dusk barbecue, one leaning in to listen
Listen so people feel heard
Painted scene of a person with a coffee stain in a meeting room
Calm in the room
Painted scene of two people having a direct, friendly conversation
Say it clearly, stay kind

What is inside

Built on how people actually work.

Courses from clinical models

Active listening, emotion regulation skills from DBT such as DEAR MAN and GIVE, CBT-style work on social anxiety, assertiveness, and what the research says about spotting lies.

Your starting point and your progress

Retake the check-in after 30 days and see what moved. Your answers and scores stay on your phone.

Save insights, write reflections

Keep the lines worth remembering and the notes you write to yourself. Private, on your device.

Voice practice, coming

Role-play a hard moment out loud and get kind, specific feedback. In development, and it will ask permission before it listens.

The evidence promise

If there is no study, it is not in the app.

Each fact card names its source. Here are three, as they appear. Our full source list is checked against the published abstracts.

After a conversation, people like us more than we think they do.

Boothby, Cooney, Sandstrom & Clark (2018). The liking gap in conversations. Psychological Science. See the study

Asking follow-up questions makes people like you more, and speed daters who asked more got more second dates.

Huang, Yeomans, Brooks, Minson & Gino (2017). It doesn't hurt to ask. JPSP. See the study

Wearers of an embarrassing T-shirt guessed about half would notice. Fewer than a quarter did.

Gilovich, Medvec & Savitsky (2000). The spotlight effect in social judgment. JPSP. See the study

We say what a study can and cannot show: lab task, correlation, small sample. No invented numbers, no stock reviews, no made-up user counts.
